Vice President, Research and Academic Administration

 

Kris has served in various roles over her 26 years with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta starting as a staff nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit to her current role as Vice President, Research and Academic Administration. In this role, in addition to leading Children’s research strategy in partnership with Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology, Kris is responsible for leading Children’s Technology Transfer, Sponsored Programs, Institutional Review Board, the Pediatric Clinical Research Center, and serves as Children’s Research Integrity Officer. Kris also leads administration of the graduate medical training programs at Children’s which facilitates clinical training for more than 500 residents and fellows each year.
