Lesa Mitchell has over twenty-five years of executive experience in enterprise technology, product management, product licensing and mergers and acquisitions in the pharmaceutical industries and as an entrepreneur. Lesa spent ten years as the VP Innovation and Networks at the Kauffman Foundation where she seeded numerous large-scale models focused on accelerating new markets. Not for profit models Lesa advised through to scale were Startup Weekend, StartX, Startup America Partnership, MIT Venture Mentor Service, Global Entrepreneurship Week, Astia and the NSF ICorp program. Lesa’s current company, Network for Scale works with leadership of both for profit and not for profit firms focused implementing innovation models globally focused on increased revenue and growth. Lesa is on the advisory board of Modern Meadow, Humin, Kairos Society, Neighborly, 8 Rivers Capital and CapLinked. Lesa is an international speaker and startup competition judge at the Milken Institute, MIT-Lemelson 500K, SxSW, Althea Imperial Prize and was awarded Women Fortyover40. Lesa is on the boards of Althea Foundation, a Sr. Fellow at Faster Cures and a collaborator at Instigating + co in San Francisco.
