13 Feb Impact Pediatric Health Finalists Announced
The nation’s top four pediatric hospitals are pleased to announce the finalists for the first ever “Impact Pediatric Health Pitch Competition” on March 16, 2015 at SXSW Interactive in Austin, Texas. One hundred sixty applications for the pitch competition were received from digital health and medtech startups from around the world. “I’ve participated in producing these events in various capacities over the years, and this is by far the best group of innovators I’ve dealt with yet,” says Brian Lang, the Impact Pediatric Health event producer.
Join Boston Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital,Texas Children’s Hospital, and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and additional national leaders such as representatives from TEDMED, Kaiser Permanente, The Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation, J-labs, and others as they hear pitches from companies around the world that are going to “Impact Pediatric Health”:
Finalists
- Bloom Technologies: Bloom empowers women with new insights into their pregnancy and aims to capture the most comprehensive view on maternal and fetal health ever.

Joining the competition as emcee will be internet pioneer, billionaire, angel investor, NBA team owner, Shark Tank member, and father of three Mark Cuban. Companies selected to present will pitch a panel of nationally-recognized venture capitalists and hospital executives.
